Rooted in the traditions of symbolic jewellery, Ferian creates modern pieces with emotional significance to the wearer.
Ferian is an old English word meaning to carry or to bring over land and sea. Our identity looked to communicate this, and the personal significance of the jewellery, by creating a mark informed by nautical flags, referencing the initials and naval heritage of the founder’s Grandfather. This allows the jewellery to be subtly branded with a unique hallmark without the need for logotype.
The website design features photo-montages of old personal photographic prints, sourced by the founder and designer Leonie Branston, combined with images of the collection.
